Electric drive systems are increasingly being found in various applications, such as machine tools, testing technology, or in machine and plant engineering. Compared to hydraulic drive systems, electric cylinders operate significantly more energy-efficiently.

The Ortlieb manufacturing has already been highly automated. With the use of the symovo system, the intralogistics will now also be brought to the same level.

In an interview with the "Wirtschaftsforum", Managing Director Dirk Laubengeiger talks about the importance of tool clamping technology in modern manufacturing technology.

Servo spindles - The precise and fast Asca servo spindle from Ortlieb combines the function of a planetary gear with that of a linear spindle and operates very powerfully and efficiently.

With a new stationary clamping unit, Ortlieb combines linear drive solutions and clamping technology. This allows workpieces to be clamped electrically. This makes clamping technology compatible with Industry 4.0.
