We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Key Account for Electric Drive Systems (m/f/d),

who will help us strengthen and expand our market position in German mechanical engineering.

In this key role, you will be primarily responsible for building and developing

new customer relationships.


Key Account Electric Drive Systems (m,f,d)


Your responsibilities:

  • Building and developing new customer relationships with a focus on the German

    mechanical engineering market.

  • Independent acquisition of new customers and projects from initial contact to

    closing.

  • Developing solution concepts, convincingly presenting the technical and

    economic advantages.

  • Creating offers and confidently leading price and contract negotiations.

  • Market and competitive observation to identify new potentials and actively

    strengthening Ortlieb's market presence.

Your qualifications:

  • Completed studies (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering)

    or comparable qualification with solid knowledge of drive and automation technology.

  • You have already successfully sold technical solutions, preferably in drive technology in mechanical engineering and industrial automation.

  • You understand the working methods and thought processes of engineers and end users and can adapt to them.

  • You speak the language of your customers – from development to the CEO in strategy meetings.

  • Negotiation-proficient German and English skills.

  • You are a result-oriented self-starter with high initiative, who prefers to take action rather than planning for too long.

  • You are passionate about acquiring new customers and collaboratively creating tailored solutions with real added value.

  • Willingness to travel up to 60 percent.

  • You have more than 5 years of technical sales success in drive technology, mechanical engineering, and industrial automation, supported by revenue and new customer growth.

  • Solid knowledge of MS Office as well as CRM and ERP systems.
