The ORTLIEB® servo spindle is based on the construction principle of the planetary roller thread spindle (PWG), originating from aerospace. This allows the rotational movements of a motor to be directly converted into linear motion.

High power in the smallest space: The dimensions of the ORTLIEB® servo spindle can be designed to be extraordinarily compact in relation to the achieved power.

Since the reduction function of a planetary gearbox is part of the functionality, the motor connection can be made directly without an additional gearbox.
