For applications that have previously relied on hydraulic drives, they are the alternative at all: ASCA® uses the principle of the planetary roller screw (PWG), forming the basis for the SERAC® electro cylinders.

ASCA® servo spindle

Combines the functions of a planetary gear with those of a linear spindle.

The fusion of these two functions results in a significant reduction of installation space and weight of a drive axle.

SERAC® electric cylinder

These completely newly constructed servo linear drives take advantage of many benefits of the ASCA servo spindle: One of their typical features is the high dynamics. In many applications, they are increasingly replacing conventional hydraulic solutions.
